Ximagi is a web-based photograph archive and distribution infrastructure designed and built by the developers of ImageDirect's web site. Ximagi is licensed through Two Birches.
This demonstration site is different from a default Ximagi installation in the following ways:
- First, you have been automatically logged in as a guest. Ordinarily, users are required to log in. You control who accesses your archive through a registration process. Registrations can be set to grant immediate access or queued for your ratification.
- The lightbox functions have been de-activated.
- In a default Ximagi installation, the home page would obviously not be this introduction. Instead, the user would be presented with a list of recently uploaded galleries, like this one, or a custom home page of your design.
Integrating Ximagi into your existing site couldn't be easier. Ximagi's appearance is controlled via a single CSS file in your Ximagi home directory. Certain other options are set in another file. Here is a web site that uses a stock Ximagi installation with a custom CSS file.
